  • Welcome!!

    So glad you're here! I'd like to tell you a bit about myself. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 18 years and we have two beautiful daughters, ages 13 and 15. I attended Columbia College and received a degree in Graphic Design. I worked as a graphic design manager for 7 years at the Illinois CPA Society where I designed their Magazine INSIGHT. My love for photography was always there but had to wait...

    On April 28, 2008 my daughter who was then almost 3 was diagnosed with ALL a form of Leukemia. As you can imagine that was a life changing moment to say the least. Through all the tears and heartache of watching your daughter go through intense chemotherapy and missing out on so many things—I have learned to treasure memories even more then ever. I just love
    taking precious pictures of children and families—the idea that these pictures will be looked
    at for generations to come is such an honor to me!!

    So here I am doing something I LOVE—capturing beautiful moments!

happy {summer} & mini session update

Hope ya’ll are enjoying your summer!!!! I feel like it just started and want it to be June again~yikes going by WAY to fast! Really enjoying seeing everyone this summer so far and looking forward to a busy fall season!

I had to make a few adjustments to my fall mini sessions, so if you’ve got a session scheduled for October 11th I had to move them October 25th.  Also I just booked a SUPER cute little wedding in September that I COULD NOT say no too:))) so my September 27th pumpkin patch mini’s are now on the 28th! If those makeup dates don’t work for you I will make sure we find a date that does!!! thanks for your understanding!!! and I’ll be sending along an email to those booked to confirm soon:)

{american beauty} ~ Class of 2014

SO~am I lucky to have the opportunity to photograph this beauty or what?!?!?!
I mean I couldn’t stop editing these~each picture was even more beautiful then the next and so on and so on!!!!

It’s not too late to get your senior pictures in for 2014 and not too early to start booking {Class of 2015} either!!! I have a package which includes hair and makeup too!!!

Don’t forget Mother’s Day ~it’s May 11th

Hello & Happy Spring!!!! I’ve been enjoying that last couple of BUSY BUSY weeks with some {AMAZING} families and kiddos!!! Can’t thank you all enough!!

SO Mother’s Day is coming~do you have pictures of yourself with your kids??? Well this mother’s day ask for something timeless like a photo session with your children? I’m offering gift certificates in any amount towards a session at any time (hint to the hubbies and grandma’s) and on April 12th & 26th I’m offering  “Mommy & Me Tea Party Mini’s,” which would be perfect for capturing some adorable moments with each of your children.
